Good Morning, ! Today is Saturday, May 26 SpaceX Falcon successfully delivered a cargo capsule to the space station. Great! It is not a gerat technical innovation, to retrace the method used to assemble the moon shots in the 60's. For the moon shots, components were sent up, then fitted together in space. OK, so we are finally back to that, after the silly detour to the deluxe schoolbus called Space Shuttle. The Space Shuttle was way too expensive, not just because of the ridiculous amount of fuel it required, but because of the huge number of people involved in tracking and servicing all its components. Contracting the shipping out to SpaceX, who used a standard military rocket and just built a maneuverable cargo capsule, got us back to where we were in the 60's, and headed in the right direction. Good Morning, ! Today is Friday, May 25 Time to wear a bit of red to show your support for the troops!Looks like my red pullover will be the only red around here. It looks really novemberish outside. But that is quite normal for late May. It will turn into a scorcher soon enough. Currently my outside thermometer shows 0. Freezing. Nice and warm inside here, though, and Saturday will be sunny. I was at the hardware store the other day, standing in line about three people back waiting to return something. Good Morning, ! Today is Thursday, May 24 We got the late May cold snap. No real snow so far. Yeah, I know, everybody bitches about it, every year. Half a dozen years ago we had almost a foot of snow, so a few days of November rain is not too bad. It will slow down the lawns and their maniacal catch-up growth. Enjoy! Ophelia

A man and his wife, who was 8 months pregnant, were shopping in crowded mall. They had been trading humorous insults for most of the evening and the man decided that he was going to really get her. Good Morning, ! Today is Tuesday, May 22 Lawns and especialy the dandylions are trying to make up for the late spring and you can almost watch them grow. People with large lawns complain that when they finish at one end, it is time to start mowing again at the other end. Luckily I don't have that problem. Some of the bushes and trees are starting to blossom. I saw one crabapple tree that had a single blossom in the morning, and many hundreds in the evening. Good Morning, ! Today is Monday, May 21 If you aregetting the current Windoze update, expect some nuisance. The restart after the update is long and scary. After you wonder for a while whether the machine will actually start up again, you get a blue screen, for a long time. Eventually, though, it will all start up. Put your password in and go make a pot of coffee. And do the dishes. When everything is finally working again, open the file explorer. Click on TOOLS, Folder Options, View and put things back the way you had them before the update changed them to MS Default, for example not showing the extensions of known file types. It is easy enough to change things back to grown-ups style. The rest of the system works OK, but sorting large folders is getting ridiculously slow, especially when compared to XP. Enjoy! Ophelia
